The Discovery and Maximus air rifles by Benjamin (owned by Crosman Corp.) have been a very successful product line. These entry level PCP air rifles are capable of very good accuracy and power. That power comes at the expense of a quite loud rifle. The TKO Moderators have been specifically designed for the valving and power output. The TKO Discovery and Maximus Moderators have been extensively tested since the introduction of these rifles in 2008, and are at the pinnacle of performance for such a small diameter airgun moderator.

The Crosman 2240 and most of its siblings (2250, 2240XL, 2300, 2400 and more...) and the 13XX pistols are some of the most popular air pistols in the world. As stock from the factory they perform well, and there are a ton of modifications available for them from many hobbiest suppliers.

5" & 6.5" TKO Airgun Moderators for the
Benjamin Discovery and Maximus Standard Rifles, and Crosman 2240 style pistols, C362, and other carbines and rifles. (See below for Gun Models.)
The BEST Moderator for the Benjamin Maximus, Discovery, and other Crosman rifles and pistols that use the standard .435 (7/16" barrel). Custom lengths are available for special projects. Call or email us your needs.
Will Fit and work great on these models:
- Benjamin Discovery and Benjamin Maximus Standard Rifles
- Crosman 1300KT, 2240, 2300, 2300T/S, 2400KT, 2250, 2260, 1740, 1760, 760 pistols and rifles.
- Will also fit the 1377/1322 and 2289 with a barrel of at least 11.25".
- Fits the Crosman MK-177 with modifications to the factory flash hider.
- Also fits the Umarex Gauntlet .177 and .22 with the factory shroud removed, however, we recommend a larger .875" TKO Mod for that rifle.
- Will not fit the 2240 "XL" version .. See Section 5...>
NOTE: This Mod will fit the Benjamin Maximus "Standard" rifle. If your Maximus is the "Euro" or "Hunter" model, please see Ordering Section 5.
